SmilePass processes memberships and payments for multiple clinics, so reliability is everything. The platform was already live and growing; what it needed was a modern marketing site, a safe way to ship changes without risking real billing, and a partner to maintain and evolve it.
SmilePass is a B2B fintech for Australian dental practices — it lets clinics offer membership plans, payment plans, and patient billing, with payments and invoicing handled behind the scenes. We're the development partner behind it: we rebuilt the marketing site, run the internal admin panel, maintain the core billing application, and provide on-demand support across the whole stack.

We built SmilePass a fast, modern marketing site. The product range is organised into clear solution hubs (membership plans, payment plans, and online payments), alongside Wiki and strategy content. The blog is fed live from the internal admin CMS, and the whole site is built for SEO.

An internal CMS for the SmilePass team
The admin panel gives the SmilePass team control over blog content, users, branding, and email — without touching code. It runs on the same proven stack as the ArtSmiles admin: Next.js 15, a PostgreSQL database with Prisma, a rich Tiptap editor, Cloudinary media, and passwordless email + OTP login via NextAuth.

Maintaining the billing & membership engine
The heart of SmilePass is a multi-tenant application that handles memberships, payment plans, and patient billing for many clinics at once. Built on an Angular front end and a Xano backend with Stripe at its core, it connects to Xero, SendGrid, Twilio, Zoho, and Calendly. We maintain it — fixing issues, shipping new features, and keeping the automated billing jobs and integrations running. Because money is on the line, every change goes through QA in a dedicated test environment — with its own test Stripe keys and data — and only reaches the live payment environment once it's verified.
Multi-tenant billing
Membership subscriptions, payment plans, and one-off charges across multiple clinics — each isolated per tenant.

Recurring charges, installments, and webhooks handled end to end through Stripe.
